Putting Borders around bunch of non-adjacent Cells at once
General December 26th, 2007
This article talks about formatting and borders.
If borders are needed around some specific cells, then here is the way to do it:
1)Hold down the “Ctrl” key.
2)Select the range of cells using mouse.
3)Then choose “Format” -> “Cells” -> “Border”.
For example in the sheet below,borders are only needed around cell range B3:B6,B11:B14 and B27:B30.So this can be done by holding down the control key and then selecting these cells using mouse.
For non-adjacent cell selection,instead of holding down “Ctrl” key, just press shift + F8 once and then make the desired selection using mouse.
